We’ve been teasing, but now it’s time to announce!

Tickets are on sale Friday 2 September and we’re stoked to announce the Bendigo Comedy Festival full line up!

Coming this October is a packed line up with headline shows from Jude Perl, winner of three Green Room awards, and internet sensation John Cruckshank, the star of Redfern Electrical. Alasdair Tremblay-Birchall and Andy Matthews will be presenting cult favourite stage show “My” “Client” “Is” “Innocent”, and comedy legends Nick Capper and Brett Blake will be throwing a hilarious and hectic split show, Vulgar Display of Comedy.

There’ll also be line-up shows including a Women of Wit: Next Gen show, featuring Daisy Webb, Jordan Barr and Patti Fawcett; and the Pride Comedy show with award winners Charlie Lewin (Melbourne Comedy Festival’s 2021 Best Newcomer), Hot Department (YouTube break out stars) and Bronwyn Kuss (winner of the Melbourne Comedy Festival 2022 Directors Award). The always popular free kids show will return with Josh Earl, host of Don’t You Know Who I Am, at the Discovery Centre presenting his show Human.Kind. There’s also a comedy workshop for teenagers keen to learn the business of comedy.

Plus there’ll be local acts with shows featuring Ash Greblo, Poppa, Mike Elliott, Kasey Mills, Jim Hallawell and more; including the podcast Dissecting a Frog recorded live with Luke Morris, at the Cambian Hotel on Sunday, before a special Sunday Session show from a celebrity act.

There’s also a unique science/comedy show from Rachel Rayner, winner of the Adelaide Fringe Science at the Fringe award 2022, and not to forget the Bendigo Comedy Festival 2022 Gala. This year the Gala will be hosted by one of Australia’s favourite rising comedians, Daniel Connell, alongside Urvi Majumdar and a range of acts with shows at the festival, plus a special guest to be announced. So much is happening we’ve run out of room.

Bendigo Comedy would like to thank our sponsors including Tough Cookie Marketing, The Cambrian Hotel, Mulqueen Printers, Comedy Victoria, Villawood Property, Agnico Eagle Fosterville, La Trobe University and the City of Greater Bendigo.
